Congress Heights is quickly emerging as an entertainment hub thanks to the 5000-seat venue on the site of Saint Elizabeths East Campus designed to host boxing, basketball games, esports, and live music. There is a rich history of African American History and Culture. There are 31 restaurants, bars, and coffee shops in Congress Heights. There is good public transportation, offering many bus lines, and the green metro line which is available at either the Congress Heights and Southern Avenue Metro Station.
